Staff Network Administrator

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Manage Azure Entra, M365, and public/private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, HCI) with infrastructure automation.
• Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot issues, and document configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and provide technical support.

This role directly supports Electra's mission to decarbonize ironmaking by ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure, enabling the company to scale its breakthrough clean iron technology and reduce global carbon emissions.

• 12+ years of progressive experience in networking and systems administration (or 8+ years with master's, 5+ with PhD).
• Expert knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and enterprise network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti).
• Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation.

• Salary range: $135,000 - $175,000 annually.
