Staff iOS Engineer

• Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core application experiences.
• Scrutinize and reason clearly about the technology and architecture choices we make. In many cases, you will be the decider of these decisions.
• Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
• Lead design and delivery of large-scale, cross-team projects and foundational systems.
• Mentor and grow senior engineers; foster engineering excellence.
• Advise Lime's leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements.
• Contribute to shaping overall engineering culture at the company.

This role helps revolutionize urban transportation by building beautiful, easy-to-use apps that scale to millions of users, contributing to Lime's mission of creating shared, affordable, and carbon-free transportation alternatives.

• 8+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
• Proven record of leading technical initiatives with high business impact.
• Skilled at mentoring, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiar with mobile testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
• Android development experience (bonus).
• Passion for sustainable, people-centric urban mobility.

The salary range is determined by factors such as the candidate's location and relevant skills and experience. Total compensation package may include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
