Staff Frontend Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Taking initiative to ensure delivery of high stakes and/or time sensitive deliverables
• Working and coordinating across multiple teams to ensure delivery, raise standards and ensure consistency
• Ensuring the quality and reliability of the Lunar Energy component library both at the software and design level
• Contributing to the continual improvement of our development best practices

Your work will help transform how we use and manage energy in the home and on the grid, optimizing value and efficiency for end users and energy companies to reduce costs and carbon footprint.

Required skills and experience:

• Expert level in Typescript, React and front-end development (HTML/CSS)
• Expert level in UI/UX design, and tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Sketch
• Strong visual portfolio showcasing UI/UX design, data visualisations, and motion design
• Experience in developing component libraries, including complex, high-interaction components such as charts, tables, date pickers, and other advanced UI patterns
• Experience working in a functional programming paradigm or openness to doing so
• Working experience with Unix-like operating systems
• You love working in a smaller team where you can see the huge impact of your work
• You are autonomous and enjoy managing your workload and deadlines
