Staff Engineer - AI

• Build and scale an enterprise-grade Agentic AI platform enabling rapid development and operationalization of GenAI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, oversee platform development, and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and AI governance standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate time-to-value for GenAI use cases across the organization.

This role enables Republic Services to leverage generative AI for operational efficiency, risk reduction, and enhanced customer experiences, contributing to a more sustainable and innovative waste management industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or 10+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience with web and mobile technologies, including highly-transactional, mission-critical applications.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD, and modern web technologies.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, Agile methodologies, and cloud architectures.
