Staff Engineer, AI Enablement & Platform

• Lead the architecture and governance of Lime's enterprise AI ecosystem, developing a secure 'Hub-and-Spoke' model for business units to safely deploy AI solutions.
• Design and engineer initial high-impact pilot use cases, including tools to accelerate month-end financial close processes and AI engines to parse complex city RFPs.
• Drive AI Enablement & Adoption: Design and execute a comprehensive internal training program and enablement strategy to ensure Limers are effectively utilizing approved GenAI tools.
• Measure Impact: Define and programmatically track key adoption and efficiency metrics, proving the ROI of AI investments.

This role enables Lime to scale AI adoption safely and effectively, reducing carbon emissions by making shared micromobility more efficient and accessible, while driving operational savings that can be reinvested into sustainable transportation.

• 8+ years of experience in IT Engineering, Systems Integration, or Automation
• High proficiency in AI-assisted development (e.g., using LLMs, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to rapidly prototype and deploy lightweight internal tooling
• Expertise in REST APIs, webhooks, and connecting enterprise systems (like Jira, Zendesk, or Snowflake)
• A 'governance-first' mindset with ability to build secure, scalable frameworks for AI-generated code and enforce data privacy guardrails

Base salary range determined by location and experience; discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity may be included. Remote work within Canada.
