Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Build, document and consult on analytics for business domains using dbt & modern BI tools such as Lightdash
  • Develop strategies to model & govern a Data Mesh – improving discoverability, consistency, and performance
  • Create comprehensive testing frameworks to ensure data quality, using tools like dbt_expectations and Elementary
  • Build robust CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment of AE and BI models, and monitoring/alerting tools for insights on AE performance

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • Deep expertise with dbt Core, advanced SQL, Jinja and Git
  • Data Modelling Techniques e.g. Kimball, OBT
  • Experience with a cloud warehouse provider e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery
  • A record of working with multiple stakeholders across domains

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Python, Spark, Github, Lightdash, Elementary, CircleCI, Databricks, Airflow, Kubernetes, DuckDB
