Staff Attorney/Senior Staff Attorney

• Provide legal technical assistance, litigation support, and training on commercial tobacco control and prevention issues to advocates, community groups, and governments.
• Develop written legal and policy educational materials for diverse audiences.
• Explain complex legal issues to specialists and non-specialists.

This role advances health equity by supporting commercial tobacco control and prevention efforts, reducing tobacco-related health disparities, and promoting public health through legal advocacy.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in any state or Tribe within the US.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant legal work experience (5 years for senior).
• Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills.

Salary range: $80,000 - $115,000 per year.
