Mission
What you will drive
- Perform legal research and draft legal documents including motions, memorandums, and court filings.
- Represent clients during FBI interrogations and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
- Assist trial attorneys with litigation tasks such as client interviews, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Participate in speaking engagements and train CAIR staff on civil rights issues.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar license in Missouri and/or Kansas.
- Minimum 3 years prior associate-level experience in civil rights.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral skills; basic knowledge of federal court practice.
- Experience working with the Muslim community and understanding of civil rights issues affecting American Muslims.

Salary range: $83,100 to $95,565 annually. Remote position with occasional travel. Exempt, full-time role with standard hours 9:00 a.m. โ 5:00 p.m. ET.
