Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the Fund Protection Clinic, providing legal guidance and pro bono coordination to over 700 grantees who have lost federal funding, including assistance with Congressional inquiries, Inspector General investigations, and False Claims Act allegations.
  • Support communities and sub-national governments in protecting access to federal funding and advancing equitable climate policy solutions.
  • Conduct legal research and drafting on environmental law, policy, and administrative law, and manage pro bono attorneys.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and 3+ years practicing law with experience in environmental justice, energy, water, or climate law and policy.
  • Excellent analytical, research, writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Commitment to environmental and climate justice and experience working with marginalized communities.
