Mission

What you will drive

  • Assist in structuring and papering financial deals for community-based clean energy projects, leveraging tax incentives and funding from the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
  • Identify and coordinate pro bono attorneys and coalition partners to provide legal guidance on financing options for clean energy projects.
  • Work with the Supervising Attorney in Green Finance to expand the green finance program and support community developers in securing capital.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • JD with 5+ years of experience in project finance, renewable energy law, or clean energy policy, with working knowledge of the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
  • Strong transactional drafting experience and ability to articulate complex financial structures to communities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Passion for climate change and environmental justice; experience with Google Workspace and Mac computers.
