Sr. Program Specialist, Forestry

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the global auditor training, monitoring, and evaluation program for forestry certification.
• Oversee system enhancements, drive process improvements, and support strategic planning and operational prioritization.
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for standards interpretation and provide expert guidance to auditors, affiliates, and partners.
• Ensure program alignment with accreditation requirements and lead major accreditation projects.

This role ensures the integrity and quality of forestry certification programs, promoting sustainable forest management and responsible sourcing, which directly contributes to environmental conservation and climate change mitigation.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Management, or a relevant field.
• 4+ years of experience in the Forestry sector in management or research.
• Experience in project management and proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management.
• FSC Chain-of-Custody Lead Auditor and ISO training (e.g., 9001, 14001, 19011).
