What you will drive
- Build and manage the operational foundation of the government affairs function, including event operations, advocacy campaign management, coalition coordination, and reporting cadences.
- Support day-to-day advocacy and political engagement, including Hill relationships, lobbying coordination, and translating policy developments into actionable intelligence.
- Contribute to strategic planning and ensure policy strategies translate into operational timelines and accountability.
- Design and execute policy roundtables and convenings, and produce high-quality policy communications such as memos, talking points, and social media content.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 4โ6+ years of experience in federal energy policy, government operations, or political strategy, with direct exposure to executive-level operations in a federal agency, on the Hill, or in a senior political role.
- Demonstrated operational excellence in building systems and managing complex programs in a policy or political environment.
- Solid understanding of federal energy policy, including tax incentives, regulatory implementation, and agencyโCongress dynamics.
- Strong writing skills for drafting policy briefs, talking points, and op-eds under time pressure; DC-based or willing to relocate.
