Mission
What you will drive
- Design, train, and deploy production-grade deep learning models for perception tasks (depth estimation, segmentation, tracking) on autonomous mowers.
- Optimize models for real-time inference on embedded NVIDIA GPU platforms using TensorRT, quantization, and mixed-precision strategies.
- Own the full model development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment, and collaborate with the robotics team for system integration.
- Analyze field data to identify failure cases and improve model robustness, leveraging both real and synthetic data.
Impact
The difference you'll make
This role directly contributes to creating safer, more sustainable autonomous mowing solutions that reduce reliance on scarce labor and increase profitability for farmers, construction crews, and foresters, ultimately driving positive environmental and economic impact.
Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of post-academic experience building and deploying production vision models on real-time embedded systems.
- Hands-on expertise with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred) and modern computer vision architectures.
- Proven track record with advanced optimization pipelines (TensorRT, NVIDIA ModelOpt, ONNX runtime).
- Strong Python and C++ programming skills.
Benefits
What's in it for you
Base pay range: $160,000 - $287,000/year, plus annual performance bonus and competitive benefits package. Inclusive workplace with diversity and inclusion programs, career development, and learning opportunities.
