Special Education Attorney

Core responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation and advice related to special education cases, IDEA, IEP and 504 Plan violations
• Conduct case research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations and proceedings
• Manage and track a high volume caseload independently

This role creates positive change by providing no-cost legal services to parents of public school children throughout Pennsylvania, ensuring access to special education rights and advocacy.

Required qualifications:

• PA Licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar
• Professional or personal experience in special education law or a related legal discipline
• Excellent executive functioning skills with ability to independently manage high volume caseload
• Excellent negotiation abilities to resolve disputes effectively and advocate for client interests
• Must desire fully remote, work from home employment

Compensation and benefits:

• Starting salary: $50,000-$100,000+ based on experience
