Special Assistant to the CEO

• Serve as the CEO's right hand, anticipating needs and ensuring the CEO is prepared, organized, and effective across every engagement.
• Manage the CEO's schedule, handle travel arrangements, and screen correspondence to protect and maximize the CEO's time.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, speeches, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Act as a liaison between the CEO and staff, ensuring timely follow-through on priorities and action items.

This role directly supports the CEO of a nonpartisan nonprofit that helps governors collaborate to protect fundamental freedoms and improve people's lives, thereby amplifying the impact of state-level policy innovations on issues like reproductive freedom, democracy, and public health.

• 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced executive support or project management role preferred.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Bachelor's degree in government, communications, policy, or related fields strongly preferred.
