Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between LCFA and the Voices of Hope Speakers Bureau and Early Career Researchers, managing relationships and coordinating activities to amplify patient voices and advance lung cancer research visibility.
- Coordinate LCFA's presence and activities at key conferences, organize networking events, and schedule interviews and content capture opportunities with researchers and patient advocates.
- Support content creation for awareness campaigns, restructure Speakers Bureau meetings for content creation, and coordinate Zoom interviews for podcasts, social media, and website content.
- Support planning and execution of events like the annual Patient Advocates Workshop and World Lung Cancer Day activities, including video production and social media support.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS or Associate's Degree, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Event Coordination, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and travel logistics, and experience coordinating events or conferences.
- Effective communication skills, comfort with technology platforms for virtual meetings and project tracking, ability to travel as needed, and remote work experience with a dedicated home office setup.
- Demonstrated empathy and respect when interacting with patients and caregivers, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and proven leadership skills to drive work independently.
