Southeast Region Representative

• Provide assistance to NACD's member conservation districts and board of directors to advance conservation education, partnerships, and membership services in the Southeast Region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with conservation districts, state associations, and agencies; facilitate two-way information sharing and highlight district work through publications.
• Support leadership development, governance, and regional meetings; assist with strategic planning and grant-related activities.

This role strengthens conservation districts in the Southeast, enabling them to better protect natural resources, promote sustainable land use, and engage communities in conservation efforts.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with conservation districts, state agencies, or federal agencies.
• Strong knowledge of southeast region natural resource concerns and conservation districts.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to build relationships and prioritize member needs.

Annual salary range: $60,000-$70,000.
