Solutions Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Support sales and business development teams by analyzing customer load data, designing distributed energy resource (DER) solutions, and managing financial models for energy projects
• Translate customer challenges into technically sound and commercially attractive energy solutions through data analysis, technical evaluations, and financial modeling
• Develop regional market expertise in utility grid services programs and identify opportunities for Calibrant products and services
• Prepare technical analysis, models, and visual materials for client presentations and interface with customers to answer application and system questions

This role creates positive change by enabling large commercial and industrial organizations to implement sustainable energy solutions that reduce costs, improve resiliency, and accelerate sustainable load growth through solar, storage, and microgrid technologies.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 4+ years of related experience
• 3+ years of technical experience in energy systems design and 2+ years in customer-facing roles such as sales engineering or technical support
• Deep technology and application knowledge of energy storage, solar, and other distributed energy resources (DERs)
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools (CoPilot, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and strong business/technical analytical skills

Base compensation is $110,000-$130,000 + commission + bonus.
