Solar Programs, Senior Project Manager – Consumer Protection (Compliance) - Remote - US

Core responsibilities:

• Investigating alleged violations of Illinois Shines program requirements and making recommendations for mediation and disciplinary actions
• Drafting and editing disciplinary correspondence, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and client expectations
• Identifying trends in consumer complaints and program violations, recommending proactive measures to promote compliance
• Maintaining client relationships, organizing meetings, and tracking deliverables, milestones, and key performance metrics

This role helps protect consumers' rights in Illinois' solar incentive program, ensuring fair practices while advancing the state's goal of 100% renewable energy by 2050, contributing directly to the clean energy transition.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years' experience in compliance, consumer protection, legal/paralegal, regulatory, auditing or quality control
• Strong written communication skills including editing/reviewing team members' work and ability to train staff on professional writing
• Exceptional attention to detail in written deliverables and ability to interact professionally with clients as primary point of contact
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365, SharePoint, OneNote) and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary range: $92,000–$125,000 annually with target compensation of $106,250. Compensation includes generous retirement package, medical/dental/vision insurance, pre-tax contribution plans, and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
