Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain web applications that visualize nature-related and sustainability data, such as tracking deforestation or mapping species habitats.
• Build clean, maintainable software that makes complex biodiversity information accessible and beautiful for users.
• Contribute to global conservation efforts through code that directly impacts environmental projects.

This role directly contributes to global conservation efforts by building tools that help the world 'see' sustainability and biodiversity crises in real-time, enabling informed action on climate change, biodiversity, and inequality.

• Recent degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in front-end, back-end, and data processing technologies.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and deployments.
• Problem-solving ability to break down functional requirements into logical steps and write clean code.

Annual salary of €20,000 - €25,000.
