Software Engineer

• Greenfield R&D, building and deploying real-time computer vision systems
• Improving existing material sampling hardware and accompanying web-based analytics platform deployed at customer recycling facilities
• Developing and enhancing web products including infrastructure-as-code, backend services, and full-stack features
• Remote-first work with occasional in-person work at Worcester, MA headquarters and travel to customer facilities

This role creates positive change by helping reduce emissions related to primary metal production and maximizing secondary production (recycling of metals), which requires a fraction of the energy.

• Strong async programming fundamentals, Linux foundational knowledge, networking fundamentals, and general basic electronics competence
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and web products (TypeScript, React)
• Basic database fundamental knowledge (SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Degree in computer science or similar discipline with 1-4 years experience in a similar role
