About the Role
Responsibilities
- Data & Market Integration: Design and implement ETL pipelines and automation for existing processes against Market APIs
- System Reliability: Balance the need for rapid feature delivery with the robustness required to support a NERC CIP compliant 24/7 Operations Center
- Infrastructure Evolution: Maintain and suggest improvements for our AWS Serverless architecture and infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Financial Systems: Support the development of financial settlement tools and reporting
- Internal Tooling: Improve the day-to-day experience for internal teams by refining dashboards and internal tools
- Full-Stack Support: While primarily back-end focused initially, you will support changes to our front-end UI as needed

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Experience: 2โ5 years of professional software engineering experience. We are looking for candidates who feel comfortable operating with some autonomy
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python (specifically FastAPI and Pydantic)
- Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly serverless architectures
- DevOps: Experience with Docker, Terraform, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code frameworks
- Ownership: An end to end mindsetโcomfortable with all phases of the project lifecycle (scoping, design, implementation, and support)
