Software Engineer, Product

• Own the Experience: Lead development of customer-facing features across our web and mobile apps: onboarding, energy dashboards, billing, outage management, and more.
• Ship End-to-End: Take features from concept to launch -- helping to define the data model, working with backend engineers, and sweating the UX details.
• Lead with Design Thinking: Champion usability and clarity; you'll work closely with product and design to ensure Base feels fast, clear, and trustworthy.
• Shape How We Build: Evaluate technologies, define frontend architecture, and improve developer experience.

This role helps transform today's fragile, centralized electricity grid into a resilient and abundant system by building digital interfaces that make energy simple, transparent, and intuitive for customers.

• 6+ years experience in product / full-stack engineering.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern SPA frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
• Track record of end-to-end ownership -- ideation, backend/API integration, UI implementation, and iteration post-launch.
• Familiar with product analytics, A/B testing, and using data to guide decisions.
