Role Overview
Trek is seeking an energetic Software Engineer II who is willing to provide Finance support in a variety of functions. This role will partner with our ERP Software Development Manager and assist in the multiple programs we run globally as well as communication internally. In addition to those tasks, collaboration with the different teams will be vital in this role due to the differences each group has and how business is conducted. Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and a “get stuff done” attitude will make anyone in this role wildly successful!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Finance-related functions
- Assist business customers to resolve issues and provide functional advice using provided tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex JDE-related issues and identify software design gaps and inefficiencies.
- Support third party solutions that integrate with the central ERP system
- Maintain system integrity of financial data
- Develop, implement and document custom solutions
- Provides technical advice to the development team on solutions.
- Participates in the crafting of development standards and team processes using knowledge on the business needs and requirements.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure legal compliance: Assist with the audit of financial data and resolution of issues.
- Provide guidance on solutions, both functional and technical, to ensure adherence to governmental and company standards.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Financial background and understanding
- Oracle, SAP, ERP
- CA / CMA / MBA Degree with 4 to 5 years of experience in the field of Accounting and FP&A related functions
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, JD Edwards or SAP
- Experience of product-based industry
- Bring energy and a drive for high standards to the role, provide incredible hospitality
- No drama, roll up your sleeves approach
- Proactive and Positive attitude
- Resourceful, get-stuff-done attitude and willingness to work as a team.
- Detail-oriented with a desire to learn both functional and technical solutions
- Outstanding oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Good to have:
- Familiar with US GAAP
- Experience integrating ERP with third party applications and systems
- Demonstrated technical acumen with ERP system and database languages (such as SQL)
- Prior experience of Shared service
- Exposure of Audit support and internal controls
