Software Engineer II - Tooling and Telemetry

• Write and refactor code to help Arcadia deliver data on the committed timeline
• Design and develop robust, scalable back-end systems and build/maintain microservices for monitoring, tracking, and delivering data
• Build and maintain observability reports to help stakeholders track progress and deliver data to customers without delay
• Collaborate with Product, SRE, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver the best possible product for members and enterprise partners

This role helps build technology solutions that expand renewable energy access to millions of households, accelerating the transformation from an analog energy system to a digitized information network to fight the climate crisis.

• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript, SQL, and technologies like MySQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, K8s, AWS, and CI/CD tools
• Exposure to frameworks such as React/Angular, Springboot, JPA/Hibernate, and experience with API programming, data models, and REST services
• Ability to problem-solve creatively and pragmatically, balance shipping code quickly with quality, and mentor/learn from other engineers
