Mission
What you will drive
- Scale telemetry data infrastructure for reliable ingestion, organization, querying, and trust across a growing fleet of deployed assets.
- Build analytics and operational intelligence workflows for site health monitoring, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance.
- Support dispatch optimization and deployment/operations troubleshooting by analyzing telemetry, logs, communications behavior, state machine behavior, and site performance.
Impact
The difference you'll make
This role directly enables the scaling of clean energy systems by building the data infrastructure and analytics that optimize grid operations, reduce downtime, and accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Advanced experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines using orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Experience working in a production data environment, including cloud infrastructure, Linux-based systems, logs, APIs, observability, and reliability tradeoffs.
- Experience building internal data tools, dashboards, or operational workflows actively used by stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Python skills or proficiency in a similar language.
Benefits
What's in it for you
- Direct ownership of a high-leverage operational system shaping how we monitor and optimize a growing fleet of energy sites.
- Work at the intersection of data, software, and real-world operations connecting telemetry to incident response and dispatch optimization.
- Build upon an existing foundation with immediate scaling impact as the fleet expands.
