Software Engineer, Backend

Core responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services that power SINAI's platform
• Design and evolve APIs and data pipelines using Node.js, TypeScript, and Apollo GraphQL
• Contribute to system reliability, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver customer-facing features

This role helps enterprises measure, analyze, and reduce carbon emissions through SINAI's platform, supporting decarbonization targets and climate action.

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a backend or backend-heavy fullstack role
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Production experience with GraphQL and/or REST APIs
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals (data modeling, performance, reliability)
