About the Engineering Society Software Developer Team Manager (ESSDev) position
Engineering Society’s Software Development Team (ESSDEV) is comprised of multiple sub-teams of student developers. The teams get to create their own software projects and see them through from ideation to deployment. Students will brainstorm their own ideas, and work throughout the semester to create them.
As manager of the Engineering Society’s Software Development Team, you’ll manage a team of students working on software projects, all while developing your own software development skills and managerial skills.
Requirements
- Strong time management skills
- Good leadership qualities
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of passionate engineering students under the supervision of the Director of IT
- Create sub-teams based on member interest and project categories
- Engage and motivate team members
