Software Developer, Frontend

As a Software developer, Frontend, you will play an important role in the development of our new B2B customer portal, which is the principal digital touchpoint for our global customer base.

• Work hands-on with a talented team of experienced developers, creating intuitive digital experiences
• Help make the portal an outstanding user experience for our global users, both external and internal
• Work as part of skilled Platform Engineering and Developer Services team with diverse expertise
• Work alongside Product Owner, Scrum master, designers, developers and other experts to deliver working software which helps Wärtsilä achieve business goals

This role contributes to Wärtsilä's purpose of enabling sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services, helping transition the world towards a decarbonised and sustainable future by developing digital solutions for marine and energy markets.

• Several years of experience in front-end software development
• Strong skills in technologies such as React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, microfrontend architecture
• A proactive attitude, taking ownership of your work and working well with others
• Ensure best practices in software development to support Wartsila's long-term digital and commercial growth
• Additional ideal skills: Testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), state management (Redux Toolkit or React Query), CI/CD familiarity, monitoring/observability (Datadog), Python experience, DevOps practices experience
