Social Media Manager (Volunteer)

• Develop and post quality content for the 50,000+ social media followers to spread positive messages, improve lives, and help people act on climate change.
• Create and post one time per week (or more if you like), with creative freedom within our general posting framework.
• Create or recycle an existing image/video and write copy to go along with it.
• Oversee the online communities to ensure positive, respectful, and appropriate engagement.

This role helps people discover personalized, positive steps to care for our shared planet, improve lives, and build a better future by addressing the climate emergency through social media content.

• Familiar with Instagram, Twitter, Threads, Tiktok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn.
• Ability to take initiative, learn new things, and apply them.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to edit images or videos using software like Canva or the desire to learn more about it.
