Social Media Coordinator

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategy across multiple platforms to support organizational goals
• Create compelling digital content by translating photojournalism into platform-appropriate narratives
• Manage social media calendars, monitor channels daily, and engage with followers to build community
• Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategies and prepare regular reports

This role creates positive change by elevating We Animals' global profile through digital storytelling, shifting public attitudes about animal exploitation, and fostering a more compassionate society through strategic social media advocacy.

Required qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience managing professional social media accounts
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Compensation and perks:

• Annual salary: $36,720 to $38,780 (based on 24 hours/week)
