Site Reliability Engineer I

Core responsibilities:

• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Build scalable services that can be shared across the organization
• Manage data pipelines that drive Uplight's core services
• Build and improve tools used by the operations teams

Your work directly impacts Uplight's mission of decarbonization and building a more sustainable future by creating clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels.

Required skills and qualifications:

• You are a new developer
• Experience with Python or other server-side programming languages
• Have built APIs to industry-accepted RESTful standards
• Demonstrable experience with writing unit and functional tests
• Working knowledge of SQL and other data tools
