Service Improvement Adviser - South West of England

Core responsibilities:

• Facilitate health and care service redesign and improvement projects in collaboration with clinicians, Parkinson's UK staff, and people living with Parkinson's, drawing on co-production principles
• Build relationships to influence service improvement across the England South West region and support the development of a vibrant national network
• Maximize participation in the UK Parkinson's Audit and relevant surveys, and support services to develop and implement improvement plans using audit results as a lever
• Promote Excellence network funding opportunities and provide support with business cases and grant applications

This role creates positive change by equipping health and social care professionals with tools, resources, evidence, and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson's, and by responding to threats to Parkinson's services to effect positive change.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience and expertise in service redesign and effecting change within health and/or social care in the South West region
• Knowledge of health and care structures and commissioning across the South West region
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior clinicians
• Experience in the use of quality improvement and project management tools, with ability to negotiate and influence, plus strong report writing and presentation skills
