Senior Vice President, Virtual Power Plants

Core responsibilities:

• Define and execute GoodLeap's Virtual Power Plant (VPP) strategy, aligned with corporate goals
• Lead sales and business development with utilities, grid operators, and community choice aggregators
• Develop VPP offerings that deliver value to customers, utilities, and GoodLeap
• Build strategic alliances with solar/battery OEMs, aggregators, and financing partners

This role integrates distributed energy resources into utility grid programs nationwide, driving the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and supporting grid stability through virtual power plants.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in energy, with at least 5+ years in utility sales, grid services, or DER program management
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing large-scale utility or CCA contracts
• Strong knowledge of VPPs, DER aggregation, demand response, and grid services markets
