Mission
What you will drive
Strategic Growth Leadership:
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute a unified growth strategy that advances Coleridge's mission and long-term sustainability.
- Translate organizational goals into actionable strategies across marketing, partnerships, pricing, and product innovation.
- Identify and cultivate emerging opportunities for revenue diversification, investment, and mission-aligned innovation.
Marketing, Communications and Brand Strategy:
- Lead Coleridge's brand positioning and messaging to strengthen its reputation as a trusted national leader in data integration and evidence-based policymaking.
- Ensure consistent, compelling storytelling that connects Coleridge's technical work to real-world policy impact.
- Oversee thought leadership, media relations, and external communications strategies that elevate Coleridge's voice and influence in the data and policy ecosystem.
Partnerships and Advocacy:
- Build and manage high-impact relationships across government, philanthropy, academia, and industry.
- Develop and execute partnership and advocacy strategies that advance supportive data-sharing and evidence-building environments.
- Oversee partnership development from identification and cultivation through contracting, delivery, and long-term stewardship.
Pricing, Business Models, and Market Development:
- Lead strategy for pricing and packaging of Coleridge's products and services to balance mission alignment, financial sustainability, and market competitiveness.
- Evaluate and pilot new business models and earned revenue opportunities consistent with Coleridge's values and capabilities.
- Partner with Finance and Programs to ensure business model decisions support long-term financial and operational goals.
Funding and Investment:
- Identify and secure new funding and investment mechanisms (e.g., program-related investments, innovation funds, strategic joint ventures).
- Strengthen relationships with funders and business partners by articulating the social and economic value of Coleridge's data infrastructure and capacity-building work.
- Align growth-oriented funding with long-term sustainability and impact metrics.
Leadership and Management:
- Oversee a cross-functional portfolio encompassing Marketing & Communications, Partnerships & Advocacy, and Engagement teams.
- Mentor and support senior leaders, providing strategic direction while empowering autonomy and creativity within their domains.
- Serve as a key member of the Executive Team, aligning growth initiatives with operational capacity and organizational health.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven track record of driving mission-aligned growth in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment (public sector, nonprofit, or social enterprise experience preferred).
- Graduate degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, or Public Policy, required.
- Deep understanding of the policy, data, and evidence ecosystem; ability to translate technical work into compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop interdisciplinary teams, including staff development and performance management.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Commitment to Coleridge's mission and to equitable, data-driven policy innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor progress, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to lead through influence and foster trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- A leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability, and mission alignment, with a history of contributing to and driving organizational strategy and impact.

Benefits
What's in it for you
Salary Range: $210,000 – $230,000 USD annually. Benefits include health insurance, employer retirement contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development support.
