Senior UX Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Understanding and designing end-to-end user experiences tailored to the needs of Australian clients and their customers, with a focus on core energy journeys like moving house and acquisitions
• Setting a high standard of product design output by creating exceptional experiences for retailer client users and elevating the Design System by using existing components and contributing new ones
• Applying a range of service design methods – including journey maps, design sprints, and co-creation workshops – to tackle complex organisational challenges
• Proactively identifying research needs and producing actionable, highly visible insights that improve products and services, with frequent playbacks to the wider UX team, business, and clients

This role contributes to Kaluza's mission of bringing net-zero within everyone's reach by designing user experiences that help energy utilities unlock the full value of a changing energy system, making renewable energy sustainable, affordable, and accessible for all.

Required skills and qualifications:

• A seasoned designer with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering impactful design solutions
• Highly collaborative, able to lead workshops and design sprints to drive alignment and innovation across local and global teams
• Proficient in using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform and defend design decisions
• Committed to improving design processes and standards, always looking for ways to increase efficiency and consistency, including using AI powered tools

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 + Superannuation
