Senior Technical Recruiter

You will lead recruiting across technical and strategic roles and develop early HR foundations that scale.

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition across engineering, AI/ML, platform, strategy, and operations, ensuring we attract and hire the caliber of people who elevate AZX's impact, credibility, and market position.
• Architect sourcing strategies for scarce, high-leverage talent in AI, energy, climate, and infrastructure, building repeatable systems that compound over time.
• Design, operationalize, and continuously refine a structured interview and evaluation process that raises hiring quality, reduces bias, and scales with the company.
• Model and reinforce AZX cultural principles: humility, mission-focus, clarity, speed, and zero inflated bureaucracy.

• 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 5+ years focused on technical recruiting.
• Extensive experience hiring senior engineers, ML/AI specialists, data scientists, and technical leaders.
• Strong sourcing skills across platforms, networks, research communities, and niche talent pools.
• Demonstrated ability to build recruiting processes, not just run them.
• Experience supporting or running people operations in a small or fast-moving environment.
• High emotional intelligence and a learning mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Comfortable making decisions in the face of ambiguity and course correcting as needed.
