Senior Systems Software Engineer

• Design highly reliable and performant Linux applications to manage virtualization stack across thousands of AI compute servers in multiple global datacenters
• Integrate Crusoe applications with hardware and software AI chip-vendor stacks to optimize and monitor virtualized hardware in AI/HPC environments
• Work with Linux Kernel and Hypervisor teams to ensure seamless integration of Crusoe applications with various kernels and hypervisors
• Analyze and enhance performance of the entire virtualization stack with focus on optimizing AI/ML workloads through profiling and low-level optimizations

• Experience building applications on Linux kernels with virtualization, device drivers, memory management, and process scheduling
• Solid understanding of hardware devices including GPUs, CPUs, Infiniband and Ethernet NICs, Ephemeral Disks, and PCI Express
• Strong grasp of distributed applications and highly-scalable systems design with communications protocols, databases, and systems design applications
• Strong experience building software applications at both higher (Golang, Java, Python) and lower (C, C++, Rust) levels with clean, maintainable code
