Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct subsurface geological interpretation and modelling using industry-standard tools to evaluate and characterize CO₂ storage opportunities across both sedimentary and hard rock systems.
- Oversee regional geological mapping and screening efforts across Canada to identify and prioritize potential CO₂ storage sites, including saline aquifers, depleted reservoirs, and mineralization-based storage targets.
- Evaluate and rank potential CO₂ storage sites through rigorous technical screening, comparative performance assessments, and uncertainty evaluation.
- Prepare and submit applications for CCS hubs and projects, including geological assessments and feasibility studies.

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
- Senior-level experience (10 years minimum), particularly in roles involving technical leadership, independent judgment, or advisory responsibility.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with core logging, core analysis, and subsurface data interpretation, in either sedimentary or hard rock environments.
- Working knowledge of sedimentary systems and/or igneous and metamorphic rock systems, including experience relevant to CO₂ storage or mineralization.
