Senior Structural Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Perform project design reviews at specific milestones throughout the final design process and coordinate with other internal reviews and approvals by key stakeholders
• Review and analyze topographic surveys, hydrology, environmental and geotechnical reports to assess project feasibility, estimate costs, ensure compliance with standards and identify design issues
• Conduct value engineering of project designs by drawing upon knowledge of civil, geotechnical, and structural design including best practices, specifications, cost, efficiency, code compliance, performance, and reliability
• Perform new technology reviews of products to be used on projects and assist in developing internal tools to reduce review times

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/structural engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering with at least 2 years in utility scale solar
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, Lpile) and deep understanding of U.S. building codes and standards

Compensation and benefits:

• Base pay: $140,000-$170,000 annually
