Mission
What you will drive
- Define and champion product strategy for Sila's next-generation battery materials, developing compelling product vision and comprehensive roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives.
- Drive market and customer intelligence by cultivating strategic relationships with key customers, conducting competitive analysis, and documenting customer evaluation processes for new battery materials.
- Translate complex OEM/cell maker requirements into precise internal test protocols and success metrics, and define necessary internal capabilities to accelerate product development.
- Prioritize and lead product initiatives by developing business cases, leading investigations into key material metrics, and creating technical marketing materials to communicate Sila's value proposition.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Management or strategic technical roles within hard tech companies, ideally in battery manufacturing or materials sectors.
- Technical understanding of battery chemistry, cell design, manufacturing processes, and performance requirements for advanced battery materials like silicon anodes.
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle for novel materials, including scaling from lab to commercial production, with demonstrated success in defining and launching strategic products.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D., or MBA) highly preferred.
