Senior Solutions Engineer

• Drive new Calibrant closed business through direct project modeling and analysis, customer support, and managing financial models for distributed energy projects.
• Design and evaluate complex DER solutions for large C&I customers, leveraging deep technology knowledge of energy storage, solar, and other DERs.
• Provide insight and recommendations across cross-functional project teams, evaluating BESS value stack tradeoffs and taking on complex late-stage opportunities.
• Coordinate regional Solutions Engineering tasks, mentor team members, and contribute to technical documentation and thought leadership initiatives.

This role accelerates sustainable load growth, reduces costs, improves resiliency, and supports new or expanding facilities by delivering reliable, cost-effective onsite energy solutions using solar, storage, microgrids, and other clean technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical degree (MS preferred).
• 8+ years related experience, including 6+ years in a technical customer-facing role and 4+ years in distributed generation in a commercial and industrial context.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools (CoPilot, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and highly proficient in building and stress-testing complex financial models.
• Strong business and technical analytical skills, project management abilities, and excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
