Job Title: Senior Solution Consultant - Public Sector

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, lead product demonstrations, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs
• Demonstrate expertise across all of Workiva's domain areas - Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting - developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact
• Translate the specific needs of the Public Sector into Workiva solutions
• Assist sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives

This role bridges the gap between complex governmental assured financial reporting challenges and the Workiva platform, helping public sector organizations improve their financial reporting, governance, risk management, and sustainability reporting processes.

• Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4 years and a Master's degree; or 2 years and a PhD
• Financial Reporting or GRC knowledge within Federal, States, Local, Healthcare, etc. industries is valuable in this role
• Experience in government accounting / financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on preparing, consolidating and analyzing complex financial statements and hands on experience applying GASB, FASAB, and FASB standards
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applied to entity-specific reporting requirements

• On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 156,000.00 - 253,000.00 USD Annual
• Eligible for commission based on sales performance
