Senior Software Engineer - Platform

• Design and build scalable backend systems, platform capabilities, and shared services used across Engineering.
• Improve developer experience through reusable tooling, frameworks, APIs, and automation.
• Operate and continuously improve distributed production systems with reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Partner closely with Product Engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and remove platform bottlenecks.

This role helps digitize the global food supply chain, reducing waste and inefficiency by building the platform that powers software used daily by food distributors and their customers.

• Significant experience building and operating backend systems at meaningful production scale.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, scalable APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• A track record of owning complex technical problems from discovery through implementation and production operation.
• Sound engineering judgement—know when to improve, simplify, or not redesign.
