Senior Software Engineer (Payments), Frontend

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications for GoodLeap’s payments experience across web platforms.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, reliable, and delightful payment experiences.
• Establish and uphold best practices in frontend architecture, code quality, testing, and observability.

This role directly enables the adoption of sustainable home solutions by building secure and seamless payment experiences, making solar panels, energy-efficient HVAC, and other green technologies more accessible to homeowners.

• 5+ years of front-end software development experience using TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services (e.g., Stripe or other payment platforms).
• Strong ability to design and implement performant, scalable, and resilient frontend architectures.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS) and collaborating with backend systems built on microservices architectures.
