Senior Software Engineer, Payments & Fraud

• Ship complex, detail-focused projects by collaborating with engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and support/finance teams.
• Build features at scale, processing millions of transactions, and own the customer payment experience.
• Deliver heuristic and model-based fraud systems to prevent abuse and defend the platform.
• Engage with world-class infrastructure and experiment with modern AI tools to multiply engineering effectiveness.

This role directly enables Lime's mission of carbon-free transportation by ensuring reliable payment systems and fraud prevention, making shared micromobility accessible and affordable for millions of riders globally.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
• Experience shipping software integrating external services to enable customer outcomes.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to reason through data and instrument work for decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and effective management of competing priorities.

Base salary range determined by location and experience; total compensation may include discretionary annual performance bonus and equity. Remote position within Canada.
