Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack, Remote)

• Build and evolve customer- and partner-facing applications, including marketing site, homeowner portal, and internal sales and ops tools.
• Collaborate to build the platform that operates a fleet of deployed batteries as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
• Design and maintain robust integrations with third-party APIs and webhooks.
• Continuously raise the standard for readability, scalability, and security of code.

This role accelerates the adoption of clean energy technologies by building software that simplifies the deployment of residential solar and battery systems, particularly for low- and moderate-income households, contributing to a more flexible grid and energy independence.

• 6+ years building software professionally, including web development.
• Led technical design for non-trivial features shipped to production.
• Experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js on AWS Lambda, Python/Django, Prisma, Postgres, SQS/event-driven systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate fuzzy business problems into clean software.

Remote role with 2–3 day in-person team meetup once per quarter. Compensation: $170,000–$210,000 per year.
