Senior Software Engineer, Full stack

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operate secure, reliable, scalable, and usable full-stack applications to optimize processes between mechanical and electrical engineering, supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, and finance
• Integrate applications with internal data platform and external systems
• Monitor and continuously improve system performance and reliability using observability tools
• Collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, other engineering disciplines, non-engineers, leadership, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver solutions

This role multiplies the impact of many teams across the company by building business-critical applications that optimize processes between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance, contributing to Helion's mission of building the world's first fusion power plant for unlimited clean electricity.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience building full-stack applications
• Hands-on experience with modern web stacks (e.g., React, Next.js)
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and a backend language like Go or Python
• Cloud-native experience in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud with container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code tools
