Senior Software Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end web applications using Microsoft technologies and integrate browser-based applications with existing services
• Work closely with customers and co-workers globally to understand business requirements and implement new solutions
• Build, develop, mentor, and coach a team of developers technically while owning code quality, unit test coverage, and technical documentation
• Advocate for FURPS (Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, Supportability) to ensure quality deliverables

This role contributes to developing sophisticated proprietary web applications like Electronic Lab Notebooks that enable scientists, engineers, and technicians to document research and experiments in pharmaceutical testing laboratories worldwide, supporting global health through improved laboratory documentation systems.

Required qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in n-tier architectures and object-oriented design
• Proficient in .NET, .NET Core (5/6/7), C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, Angular 7+ and Microsoft technology stack
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and experience with Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and microservices
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, UI testing, unit testing frameworks, and authentication/authorization protocols
