Senior Software Engineer

Core responsibilities for this Senior Software Engineer role:

• Design, develop, configure, and support computer software applications
• Provide analysis, architectural design, and leadership on large complex projects
• Manage designated technology application portfolio including reengineering, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, and monitoring
• Work within IT processes and procedures including the company's internal software development life cycle methodology (SDLC)

This role supports laboratory information management systems and specimen management systems that facilitate testing laboratory operations, contributing to scientific research and quality assurance processes.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or equivalent experience and training
• 7+ years of successful application & system development and management with database experience utilizing the .NET Framework
• Proven experience leading tasks or projects related to large size software implementations
• Experience using and applying System Development Lifecycle Methodologies
